Parent help at CP is beyond compare!

School-wide

Parent support at CP and in the District is beyond compare, whether the support is of money, materials or time.  Your donations to these groups directly impact the quality of your child’s learning experience and our school culture, and I thank you for your generosity.  MEF and PTA directly contribute to our classroom experiences by funding our library, music, PE and art programs, our teacher assistants, special school projects, and by giving each teacher an annual classroom materials allowance (among other things!).

Room A

As a working mom myself, I understand how precious it is to be able to help in the classroom, and how impossible it sometimes is to schedule. Please do not feel bad if you cannot come in to the classroom.  Having your child ready to go each morning and giving love and attention at home each night is the most important support you can give.  However, if your schedule does allow you to come to school once in a while or on a regular basis, jobs that benefit our Room A community include: helping at library and during class parties, processing Scholastic Book Orders (which are now online), sending flowers to decorate our classroom (preferably on Monday), or being a parent reading buddy (usually starts in January).
