Snack and lunch nourish our bodies for better learning.
WE ARE A PEANUT AND NUT-FREE ROOM THIS YEAR.
Healthy food, reusable containers, good manners...these are the highlight ideas of eating.
Snack: Include at least one healthy item in your child's lunch bag that s/he will enjoy eating for snack. Cookies, candy, and juice boxes are not allowed for snack.
Lunch: Children will carry their food to the multi-use room, so please provide ONE labeled container.
Hints and Helpful Ideas
- Clearly label your child's snack bag/box.
-
Be eco-savvy! To lighten the earth’s trash load and encourage your child’s independence, choose reusable containers that your child can open him/herself (practice at home).
-
When selecting foods, think: Protein! Fiber! Vitamins! Freshness!
